I have known Helene since she first moved to her home on Aldringham. In fact, she is the one who fixed me up with my husband, Lew Kirschner. We were married for over 43 years when he died while scuba diving in the Galapagos Islands in 2012. The last time I saw Helene was at our 40th DHS reunion. I have such wonderful memories of our long friendship. I so clearly remember her parents, sister, and grandmother. I learned of her passing just yesterday when I received my copy of the Temple Shomer Emunim Bulletin. Please accept my deepest condolences. Helene will always be remembered fondly by those of us who knew her.

Helene and I were friends from grade school through high school. She lived on Aldringham, I lived on Drummond. It was so nice to talk to her at our DHS 50th reunion and remember all our wonderful times together. My sincere condolences to her entire family. She will be missed!
